The Facilities, Maintenance, and Operations (FMO) team of the ASUC Student Union is looking for 1-2 Facilities Specialists work-study* students. The Facilities Team provides operational support and planning assistance to numerous spaces on campus, including the newly-renovated MLK Student Union and rebuilt Eshleman Hall. Campus Green Building Lab Seeking Design/Build Work-study Student

Assist the Center for the Built Environment (CBE) in the design and build-out of our workspace renovation this summer. This is a paid position, work-study preferred. Tasks include the following activities: Programming: Identify space needs in terms of activities, work styles, storage needs. Design: Make image boards to present concepts; identify furniture; storage, lighting, and other features; produce sketches and design drawings, produce a budget. Installation: Coordinate installation of purchased items, including pick up and possibly fabrication of some items. Some hands-on work including organization and clean-up of the space will be required . Qualifications: Architecture or interior design skills, CADD, strong communication skills. The Alliance to Save Energy's PowerSave Campus Program seeks a student with an interest in energy efficiency for the position of PowerSave Campus Project Coordinator beginning September 2013.
