In preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Free Speech Movement during the 2014 fall semester, a new, interactive website has launched featuring a visual history of the momentous events of 1964. Please visit http://fsm.berkeley.edu to view the entire site, which includes biographies of UC Berkeley students, faculty and staff who were leaders of the Free Speech Movement, along with additional resources, such as images, video, news coverage, books, documentaries, and a graphics toolkit. Current students are invited to submit designs for the 50th anniversary commemorative poster, in a contest co-sponsored by UC Berkeley's On The Same Page program, http://reading.berkeley.edu/ srl_2014.html and the Office of Communications and Public Affairs. In addition to campus recognition, the winner will receive a cash prize of up to $2,000.00. The deadline to enter the contest is Friday, May 30, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. For complete guidelines, visit http://fsm...
