Cultural Adjustment Workshop Series

What's Up with That?  is an intercultural communication series that aims to provide students with an opportunity to engage in peer-to-peer sharing about various topics that encompasses their life as an international student at Cal. Rather than just presentations, the peer-to-peer concept allows students to ask and learn in a non-judgmental environment and share tips which have been helpful for them with others.   For our first workshop, we will be discussing about Adjustment to the US. The workshop will focus on topics which are particular to the unique US culture such as language/pronunciation, cleanliness of the environment and homelessness, tipping culture, concept of personal space, and personal identity. Support Collectors $500 SCHOLARSHIP - Dec. 15, 2017 Deadline

Support Collectors is excited to announce a new scholarship program. We want to provide financial assistance to a selected college student who has either been affected by family separation in their own life, or who intends to pursue a career that will have a positive impact on separated families. The selected student will receive an award of $500 for use toward tuition, books, or living expenses.
