Exciting opportunity to expand the web and social media presence of an interdisciplinary program linking environmental design fields with the humanities. The Global Urban Humanities Initiative (GUH) is seeking a creative and experienced website manager and social media coordinator with strong writing skills. The job also includes program coordination work, scheduling, and event planning. Student enrollment for a free year of membership in APA’s Early Career Program begins August 23 and ends September 27. Most of the materials you need to enroll is here . Who is eligible for a free year of membership? Every undergraduate and graduate student matriculated for the Fall 2013 semester is eligible, as long as he or she: -Is a full-time planning student, and -Is younger than 35 at the time of enrollment, and -Has never been an APA member. By agreeing to participate in this program, you also agree to give every eligible student in your program the opportunity to enroll. Application: APA membership application (PDF). *WORK STUDY ELIGIBLE ONLY* The Career Center prepares undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni to make informed decisions about their futures by providing comprehensive resources, programs, and counseling on career development, internships, employment, and graduate school. The Peer Advisor position is an integral role in the success of our programs and services. Working directly with and supervised by a Career Counselor, Peer Advisors are trained to be extremely knowledgeable about Career Center services, and will assist students through providing daily customer service in the Career Center, one-to-one advising, and conducting workshops. You must qualify for Work Study to apply for this position.
