Intern / Teaching Aide position, Project H Design

Design nonprofit Project H is seeking a teaching assistant intern (ideally an architecture, landscape architecture, or education graduate student or upper division undergraduate). The intern would volunteer time to support our middle school Studio H design/build teacher at REALM Charter School in West Berkeley, specifically modelmaking, carpentry, and hand tool use in our 6th grade class (26 students). Experience with hand tools, modelmaking, carpentry, teaching, or youth mentorship is highly preferable. Help is needed 3-5 days a week, 11:00 - 12:15pm, as soon as possible, through June 5th, with an opportunity to continue in a part-time paid position in the fall semester. UCDC Program's

UCDC Program's application for Spring Semester 2015 is due Oct. 1, 2015. Currently, Cal students are interning at the Supreme Court, the White House, The U.S. State Department, think tanks, and amazing nonprofits. Financial aid will follow students to D.C. and will be increased to allow for the extra cost of participation in the program (airfare, professional attire, etc.). Scholarships are available as well.
