Campus
Recycling and Refuse Services is hiring four Waste Audit
Staff Assistants to
conduct a campus wide waste audit and three Zero Waste
Research Center Staff
Assistants to assist in researching UC Berkeley’s plastic
footprint and how to
limit Berkeley’s usage of plastic and other materials that
cannot be easily
recycled or composted!
Interested
in an environmental leadership position? Apply to work in
one of four new
coordinator positions! Campus Recycling and Refuse
Services is hiring two Zero
Waste Research Center Coordinators to create a report on
UC Berkeley’s plastic
footprint and lead three staff assistants in researching
how to limit Berkeley’s
usage of plastics and other materials that cannot be
easily recycled or
composted. Campus Recycling and Refuse Services is also
hiring a Zero Waste
Event Coordinator to lead twelve zero waste events in the
upcoming school year and
create a best practices documents on how to start Zero
Waste Events for the
campus community. Finally, Campus Recycling and Refuse
Services is also hiring
a Waste Audit Coordinator to lead four student staff
assistants in conducting a
campus wide waste audit.

on Wednesday August 22nd. Students from a variety of majors and
years are encouraged to apply. Students may also apply
