CalFresh Food Assistance application session: Nov 8th
CalFresh is a food assistance program that can provide students with up to $194 per month to use at grocery stores and farmers’ markets. All students with either CalGrant, Work Study (even if they do not currently have a job), EOP status, or DSP enrollment are eligible to apply as long as they do not have an on-campus meal plan. On Friday, November 8th, we are hosting an application session all day at the Basic Needs Center from 9:30am - 4pm. Here is the link to reserve a spot for Friday . And there is a flyer attached below. CalFresh is an essential resource for students, as it provides students with the agency and purchasing power necessary to access healthy and nutritious meals. Please help us reach out to students about the program and share this opportunity!
