Please join us for the annual UC Davis School of Law Environmental Law Symposium
April 12, 2013
The Environmental Law Society (ELS) at the University of California, Davis School of Law is proud to announce that plans are underway for the 2013 Environmental Law Symposium. This year's symposium will focus on the current and future state of public transportation in California, concentrating on High Speed Rail and SB 375.
With rapid population expansion and emission targets to conquer, public transportation in California continues to be a hot topic. High Speed Rail, SB 375, and other recent legislative efforts have pushed California towards sustainable development and innovative forms of transportation. Yet questions remain concerning the potential impacts, legal battles, and policy considerations surrounding these new developments.
Please join us in discussing how California is moving forward to meet our transportation goals.
