Architecture at Zero - Call for Student Involvement

Dear Friends in the Academic Community,

I am writing to let you know about Architecture at Zero 2012, a competition for Zero Net Energy Architecture that I am hoping you will be able to pass on to your students and colleagues.  While we realize that planning for summer studios is likely well underway, we hope that some of your departments will be able to consider the competition as course material for summer or early fall studios.  The deadline for entries will be October 1, 2012.  Entry for students is free, and $25,000 in prize money will be awarded to winning entrants, as well as a chance for recognition in exhibitions and print media.  Awards will be given to both professionals and students, and students from Harvard and University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee both received awards in last years’ competition.

For more information on the 2011 competition and to stay tuned about this years’ competition, please visit

Thank you,
Becca Kennedy
