Networking is essential to uncovering job opportunities and to your ongoing success as a design or planning professional, yet many students are uncomfortable reaching out to alumni and other professionals in their fields of interest.

Come learn about best practices for making professional connections in architecture, landscape architecture, planning, and design, whether at one-on-one informational interviews, networking sessions, or career fairs.
 
You will learn:
  • how to use online resources (wursterlife.com & LinkedIn.com) to reach out to alumni & other professionals
  • how to approach in-person networking so you can feel more comfortable and confident 
  • how to present yourself when meeting new people by practicing networking skills with alumni and other professionals
