Earn a Summer Minor!

The summer minor in Digital journalism is now open for enrollment to all Berkeley students. No previous journalism experience is required. Enroll now, complete the five course minor in one summer (or two consecutive summers) and we'll award you a $2000 scholarship.
Digital journalism will help you build communications skills, no matter what your major is. Learn how to report stories quickly and write more concisely, learn how to shoot video and still photography, record audio and combine those elements into online packages. You will also master social media, and develop specialized skills such as Investigative Reporting, International Reporting and Earth Journalism. Learn how to use the skills journalists use and build an audience for your work. Classes begin May 28, 2019.
