Metropolitan Transportation Commission Internship

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) provides ten to twelve paid internships each year. These internship positions are located in the SOMA District of San Francisco, and will take place in the summer, between the months of June to September (typically 10-12 weeks).

  • Legislation and Public Affairs Section - (LPA) 
  • Operations Section - (OPS)
  • Programming and Allocations Section - (P&A)  
  • San Francisco Estuary Partnership - (SFEP)
  • Technology Services Section - (TSS)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this internship program you must be enrolled at least part-time in a four-year undergraduate or graduate level curriculum in any of the above mentioned fields specific to the Sections.

Individuals who have already graduated (no earlier than December 2017) may be considered up to six (6) months post-graduation.
