Interested in Grad School?

The Institute for Recruitment of Teachers (IRT) is scheduled to visit the UC Berkeley campus on Wednesday, February 14th, 2018.  One of IRT's main goals is to diversify the field of education by encouraging first generation, low-income students who seek a career in the field of education as a teacher, counselor, professor, or administrator at the K -12 or university level. IRT is very essential in helping first-gen students apply to graduate school through out the graduate school application process. Students interested in graduate studies in the Humanities, Computer Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, and Education are encouraged to attend!

IRT will meet 1-on-1 with students who are interested in the IRT program during the day from 9AM – 5PM. In addition, IRT will conduct an information session for students in the evening from 6 PM – 7PM at 105 Chavez on the same day, February 14th.

Interested students are encouraged to meet with Kate Slater, the IRT representative, by scheduling an appointment at the EOP office in 119 Cesar Chavez or by calling the office at (510) 642-7224.
