TWO BERC Undergrad events coming up: Environmental Consulting and Speed Networking Panels

Up Coming BERC Events - be sure to RSVP!

Hello again, this is Jeffrey Wong from BERC (Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative) Undergrad and we are excited to invite you to our two
flagship events of the semester.  We are organizing an Environmental Consulting Panel this Thursday, and a Speed Networking Panel happening next Monday.

See below for details on both. Apologies for the somewhat late notice, but please do come check it (them) out!  Also, please forward this email to anyone you know who might be interested and invite your friends on Facebook to the event pages too!

Environmental Consulting Panel:

What: Environmental Consulting Career Panel presented by BEACN and BERC Undergrad

Where: Haas C-220
When: Thursday, April 5th from 7:00pm-8:30pm

Interested in a career in consulting?  Come listen to four professional environmental consultants speak about about their careers and give advice on how to get into the field.  Get your questions answered!  Featured speakers represent a wide diversity of interests, from public health to energy and engineering.  Free local and organic food from the
Berkeley Student Food Cooperative will be provided!  This event is ASUC Green Certified and ADA Accessible.  RSVP at our Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/261689557251610/.

Speed Networking Panel:

What: Energy and Sustainability Career Speed Networking presented by BERC Undergrad
Where: Bank of America Forum at the Haas School of Business
When: Monday, April 9th from 6:30pm-8:30pm

Come network with professionals a wide variety of industries including renewable energy, electric vehicles, utilities, consulting, and business!  In the first part of the event, eat free food while socializing with students and professionals in an informal setting.  In the second part of the event, students will be organized into small groups and rotated among the professionals.  This will allow students to spend time getting to know each professional and discuss career paths.  This event is ADA Accessible.  RSVP at our Facebook event page:

*Note:
There will also be time for undergrads to socialize amongst themselves afterwards.  We've heard feedback from some BERC Undergrad members, asking for opportunities to talk about classes, interests, and careers in an informal setting.
Thank you!

Sincerely,
Jeffrey
