Panel Discussion on Creative Activism: Friday April 6th

Dear Students,

This Friday from 3-5pm in room 106 Wurster Hall, a group of distinguished
educators and practitioners will discuss key issues surrounding design
activism. The discussion will begin with structured debate around a
sequence of moderated questions, followed by an open forum with the
audience. Students interested in social engagement, activism in the design
professions and alternative modes of practice are strongly encouraged to
attend.

The speakers are as follows:

*Amit Price Patel, Board President, Architects and Designers for Social Responsibility
*Jeremy Till, Dean, School of Architecture and the Built Environment, University of Westminster
*Sarah Wigglesworth, Principal, Sarah Wigglesworth Architects; Professor of Architecture,

*Eric Cesal, Haiti Coordinator, Architecture for Humanity

Note that Dan Pitera will also be speaking in the Architecture Lecture Series on Wednesday, April 4th
at 6:30 pm in room 112 Wurster.
