Global Architecture Brigades at Berkeley

Are you interested in international and/or nonprofit work? Do you want to spend one week abroad in Honduras this summer and use your skills to offer sustainable outreach to rural communities?

Global Architecture Brigades at Berkeley is part of the world’s largest student-led and sustainable-development organization.  We travel to Honduras twice a year to develop sustainable health and education infrastructure where there is limited access to healthcare and higher education. During this time, we construct medical clinics and schools where students work alongside community members and local masons to do foundation framework, wall building, roof truss assembly, and much much more. We welcome all majors! You do not have to speak Spanish or be an architecture major to help advance these communities away from dependence on outside aid and towards self-reliance.  If interested come to one of our two info sessions:

Date: Wednesday, Apr 11th, and Thursday, Apr 12th
Time: 6-8pm Location: 2038 VLSB
**Note: our sister chapters (Global Medical Brigades, Global Microfinance Brigades, and Global Water Brigades) will also be providing information about their programs.
